Independence Day: FG Declares October 1st Public Holiday
Independence Day 2018
What’s up guys… Independence day
is here again. As usual, you will have the day to yourself. On Monday is public holiday and you are free to “ball”.
The Honourable Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, while making the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government,
congratulated Nigerians on the anniversary and urged them to sustain President Muhammadu Buhari administration’s efforts at maintaining and strengthening the unity and peace of the country.
He emphasised government’s commitment to promoting national unity, economic growth, social and political development based on democratic principles.
The minister added that in the past 58 years, Nigeria had made a lot of progress and positive impact not only on the lives of its citizens but also on infrastructure development as well as international relations.
You may be wondering, how do I add colour to this celebration. It is very simple. Wake up early and send independence text messages to friends, boss and loved ones. Don’t fail to hand out and enjoy yourself too.
