This works particularly well for:

- Agriculture
- Mining
- Industry
- Transportation
- Tourism

### Answer Past Questions by Topic

After studying a section, immediately answer related past questions.

For example:

Map Work → Map Questions

## Conclusion

The **[WAEC](https://www.waecnigeria.org/) Geography Areas of Concentration 2027/2028** give you a structured way to organise your preparation around the major practical, physical, human, economic and regional Geography topics in the syllabus.

Give serious attention to Map Work because the Paper 3 map-reading question is compulsory. Make sure you can calculate scale, measure distance, determine bearings, calculate gradients, draw cross-profiles and interpret relief, drainage, settlement and land-use patterns.

For Physical Geography, prepare the Earth as a Planet, Rocks, Tectonic Processes, Denudational Processes, Weather, Climate and Environmental Geography, together with the country-specific sections that apply to you.

For Economic and Human Geography, revise Population, Settlement, Transportation, Industry, Trade and Tourism thoroughly.

You should also know the Regional Geography of your home country very well because it forms an important part of Paper 2.

Do not prepare for Geography by memorising definitions alone. Use maps and atlases, practise diagrams and calculations, answer past questions and learn how to explain geographical processes and relationships clearly.

Use the complete syllabus as your main checklist and combine it with consistent Map Work and essay practice.
