How to Print Your JAMB 2027 Mock Exam Slip
By Rabiu Francis Published: Oct 2, 2026The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has not officially released the mock examination slip for the 2027 UTME. If you plan to register for the optional mock exam during your UTME registration, it’s important to print your slip on time.
This document contains everything you need to know about your mock exam — including the date, time, venue, and other essential instructions.
Why the Mock Exam Slip Is Important
Without this slip, you won’t be allowed to sit for the mock exam. It confirms your participation and shows your personal details, the address of your CBT centre, and the scheduled time for your exam. Printing it early gives you enough time to plan and avoid unnecessary stress on exam day.
How to Print Your JAMB 2027 Mock Exam Slip
To access and print the notification slip, candidates should:
- Visit the JAMB official website: www.jamb.gov.ng
- Click on the “2027 Mock Slip Printing” link
- Enter their registration number in the space provided
- Click on “Print Examination Slip” to view and download the document
The board advises that all candidates visit their assigned exam centres at least one day before the scheduled exam to avoid confusion and ensure they arrive on time.
What to Do If You Don’t Have a Printer
If you don’t have access to a printer right away, you can save the slip as a PDF file on your phone or computer. You can then visit a cyber cafe or CBT centre to print it out later. It’s important not to wait until the last minute, as technical issues or long queues could delay you.
Know Your Exam Centre Early
JAMB strongly advises candidates to visit their exam centres one or two days before the mock, especially if they are unfamiliar with the area. This will help you avoid confusion on the day of the test and reduce the risk of arriving late.
Keep in mind that JAMB expects all candidates to be at the centre before 7:00 a.m. on exam day. Biometric verification will begin by 7:25 a.m., and no candidate will be allowed into the exam hall after this process closes — even if they have a valid slip.
What You Should and Shouldn’t Bring
For the mock exam, you only need your printed slip and a biro for signing in. Do not bring any of the following items:
- Phones
- Smartwatches
- Bags
- Books
- Calculators
- Any electronic device
JAMB has banned these items to ensure fairness and avoid distractions or malpractice during the exam.
Why the Mock Exam Matters
Although the mock exam is not compulsory and doesn’t affect your admission, it gives you the opportunity to experience what the real UTME will feel like. It helps you test your speed, accuracy, and comfort with the computer-based format. If you’ve never taken a CBT before, this is a perfect chance to learn how it works under real exam conditions.
The JAMB mock exam date for 2027 will be announced later.
Participating in the mock can help you identify your strengths and weaknesses before the actual test begins.
